It's the Final Countdown.....
Four and a half weeks until we move. I am so excited! We are just strating to pack, and change our address, and arrange for new hydro/cable hookups. We also bought a new couch last night! It's from Upholstery Arts, and it is so beautiful:) I love it!

Daydreamer....
I decided to start a new house wishlist on my blog. After going to Ikea the other day with my aunt and nana, I saw so many wonderful things that would be great for our new place. We are going to need a new dresser, a new smaller entertainment unit, and some new decoration-type things.
As our couch is completely collapsed now on one side, I have been researching new couches as well. I am totally in love with one from the Brick
Isn't it great? Maybe there is a couch fairy who buys people new couches:) A gal can dream...

Top of the Mornin' to You!
It's been a pretty busy Spring Break so far. I always have big plans for my time off at this time of year, but other things seem to eat it up.
We finally signed off on the last of the paperwork last night, and we will now be moving at the end of April. We are both so nervous and excited:) We have worked so hard to finally have a place of our own. It seems a bit surreal.
I have someone famous in town this week, my sis-in-law Danea. Apparently she is world renowned in scrapbooking. Check out her website, she is pretty fab. Too bad she has absolutely no sense of humour whatsoever:) Sigh.....I would put my vegan recipes in a cool silver decorated box if she made me one........
My aunt is also in town too....going for lunch with her tomorrow to an Irish pub to celebrate St.Patty's day. Slante!

House Hunting.....
I hate it. It is hands down absolutely the most frustrating thing I have ever done in my life. If I hear the term seller's market one more time, I am going to lose it.

People who live in Glass Houses shouldn't throw Stones....
Well, I am now stone-free it seems. Except for some back pain from the procedure, I am doing OK. They figure the stones (yes, there was actually 2 of them) were most like made up of oxylate. Foods high in oxylate include: Nuts, dark leafy greens, chocolate, berries and peanut butter. Who knew that eating healthy could cause problems? I just have to make sure to keep ultra-hydrated, increase my calcium, and I should be OK:)
In other news (this is how the title ties in...LOL) we were just approved for a mortgage! We are really excited and have looked at a couple of places already. We completey fell in love with one place, but were outbid by a lot. We are the back up offer, so you never know! Fingers crossed:)
